“Sprung in die Zeit (Time Lapse)” is based on its reference to motion-study photographs and multiple exposure. However these specific techniques essentially used in the medium of photography and film did not apply in the image making. In lieu thereof multiple layers of paper and transparent foil in transmitted light compress into staged black and white photographs. Thereby texture and structure of the photographed materials play a significant role. During the creation process new arrangements with their own rules and principles develop and operate with opposites such as beginning and end, abundance and emptiness. A simplified concentration of graphical abstractness as staged perception of time and space.
