»Anemoia« Engages Naturally With the Environment of Raketenstation, Stiftung Insel Hombroich
Since 1994 the former NATO missile base has been used as a site where art and architecture are developed, in complementary fashion to the Museum Insel Hombroich, and used as a habitat and place of work for artists from the realms of art, literature and music. In November and December 2024, at the invitation of Georg Schmidt, the Stiftung Insel Hombroich welcomed the artist Elias Wesselto the guest studio at the Raketenstation Hombroich. »Anemoia,« a new work series created during this time, engages naturally with the unique environment of the Raketenstation.
