Exposing Social Media – Exhibition Review in Two Coats of Paint
Two Coats of Paint is a NYC-based art project, that includes an award-winning art blogazine founded by Sharon Butler in 2007. Nationally read, Two Coats of Paint publishes original content with an emphasis on contemporary painting and related issues. Two Coats has been sponsored by numerous museums, universities, galleries, and arts organizations including the Guggenheim Museum, Whitney Museum, New Art Dealers Association (NADA), School of Visual Arts, and many others. In 2014 and 2016, Two Coats of Paint received prestigious Creative Capital/Warhol Foundation Arts Writing Grants for art writing. In August 2024 Two Coats of Paint publishes an exhibition review of »Elias Wessel: It’s Complicated« at Picture Theory by Chunbum Park that can be read here.
